Ilene Black is thrilled to be an illustrator with His Work Christian Publishing. When she is not in her studio drawing cute and furry or scaly and horrific [illustrations], she can be found indulging in her many outside interests.
Ilene is a runner and hopes to participate in her fist marathon this summer, she participates in yoga, has a keen interest in designing and building primitive furniture, she is an active volunteer with the elderly participating in meals-on-wheels and adult day programs and loves to observe nature and be awed by the world around her.
Recently relocated to Nova Scotia, Canada, Ilene hopes to buy an old school house and convert it into her home and studio by doing as much of the work herself as possible. She shares her studio with her beloved angora rabbit Eddie.
Look for her creative illustrations in Emma McDougal and the Quest for Father Time by Matt Cowden in October 2007 from His Work Christian Publishing.

Andrea Hazard is a self-taught digital artist. She began illustrating stories for her children four years ago and had so much fun she decided to make it a career.
She teaches religious education classes to children in her church, and finds that her teaching inspires her artwork. She lives in rural Danby, New York, and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Eric and her children, Sam and Sandra.
Look for her colorful illustrations in Zack Attack! by Angela J. Perez in 2007 from His Work Christian Publishing.

Angela M. Gray is a small town, country girl who loves living near her family in Patterson, Missouri.
She is a full time church secretary who enjoys spending her free time drawing, painting, and illustrating. She believes her talents came from God and was helped along by her father—who gave her her first drawing lesson on a restaurant napkin.
“The fun part about illustrating children’s book,” she laughs, “is being able to see everything through a child’s eyes! I feel so blessed to be able to do that on a daily basis.”
Look for her lively illustrations in the current children book, Things I Wonder by Jennifer Lynne Smith, and Rose, the Bubble-Breathing Dragon, also by Jennifer Lynne Smith, coming in 2008 from His Work Christian Publishing.
