Things I Wonder
By Midwest Book Review/ Sept. 2007
Things I Wonder is a Christian picturebook for young readers featuring iconic color artwork by Angela M. Gray and playful rhyming verse by high school teacher Jennifer Lynne Smith. A young boy wonders what it would be like if the world were so very different than it is now - what if the sky looked and tasted like cotton candy? Or what would the world be like if he didn't have eyes or a nose? "I have wonders, many wonders, / but this is what I know... / that my Father up in Heaven / must truly love me so." A delightful addition to picturebook collections for young Christian children.

Ketchikan, Alaska -- October 30, 2006 -- His Work Christian Publishing has just released their latest title, "Christian Prayer Journal & Praise Report" by Alaskan author Angela J. Perez.

This is the third book from Perez whose other titles include, "Where Does God Live?" and "Teach Me To Tie" both children's picture books. Perez is also currently working on her fourth book, "Fit Christian Woman" scheduled to be released in 2007.

"Christian Prayer Journal & Praise Report is a prayer journal like no other and is the perfect addition to any Christian's personal library."

Record your prayers, and their answers in the handy journal designed with the Christian in mind. Includes chapters on what prayer is, how to pray, the value of prayer, and more. From the Introduction: "As believers, we cast many requests before God, asking Him to meet our needs. God meets those needs, whether it be healing, financial security, or just a simple "Lord keep in in Your care today" request. It is important to write down the date you began praying for your specific need as well as the date your prayer was answered, so years later you can reflect on those answered prayers. On those days when you are struggling in your faith, wondering if God has even heard your prayers, you will take out this journal and be reminded of ALL the prayers God has answered for you, provided you use it faithfully. Then pass this journal on to your children, and their children as a family heirloom to show your descendants how great, faithful, and loving God really is."
