A Half-Husband’s Journey

A half-husband is a man
Who is waiting for his wife,
He carries out God’s holy plan
And he lives a holy life.

He’s being a chaste bridegroom,
This makes him a half-husband.
When married, one they’ll assume,
Only when he meets the one.

His journey is single life
While he’s waiting for his wife,
The wilderness is what it’s like,
When they marry, paradise.

Placing marriage in God’s hands,
He is enjoying his journey.
He’s not impatient or sad,
For the bridegroom is still learning

To be the man he must be
When he’s living with his wife;
And in this God helps him see
How he can enjoy his life.
